About South West-Facing House Plans
A south west-facing home has its main entrance towards the south west. In Vastu Shastra, the facing direction guides where the entrance, kitchen, master bedroom and pooja room should sit, so a south west-facing plot needs a layout designed specifically for that orientation. Our south west-facing house plans place each zone to keep the home Vastu-compliant, with floor plan, elevation, 3D visualization, Vastu and working drawings under one roof. South west corner plots need the most care: the corner that should be heaviest and most closed is the one facing the road. We move the entrance away from the corner along the west or south wall, give the corner a solid, tall volume (stair tower or master suite), and open the north east at the rear.
Our south west facing plans follow one zone map, and our Vastu expert checks each layout against it before delivery. Read the full south west facing guide: South West facing house Vastu plan, or browse Vastu house plans for the general checklist.
| Element | Recommended position |

| Master bedroom | south west, ideally on the upper floor |

| Staircase | south west or south |

Frequently Asked Questions
Is a south west-facing house good as per Vastu?
South West-facing homes can be made fully Vastu-compliant with the right entrance and room placement, our certified Vastu consultants handle this in the design.
Do you design south west-facing house plans?
Yes, we design south west-facing floor plans and elevations for any plot size across India.
Can I customise a south west-facing plan for my plot?
Yes. Every south west-facing plan is custom-designed for your plot, with floor plan, elevation and 3D views.
Where should the kitchen be in a south west facing house?
In the south east. The cooking platform should let the cook face east, and the kitchen should never sit in the north east or directly under or over the pooja room.
Where should the staircase be in a south west facing house?
In the south west or south, climbing clockwise, never in the north east or at the centre of the plot. On narrow plots we run it along the side wall so it does not cut the width.
