Soil and structure

Alluvium and black soil along the Shivnath with laterite on higher ground; flood-line clearance matters near the river and plinth beams on the clay patches. Our structural engineer sizes footings and columns from the soil report, which is why we ask for a soil test before the working drawings are issued.
