Coal and power-plant town on the Hasdeo with very hot, hazy summers and a heavy monsoon. Ash-dust sealing, washable exteriors and north-facing living spaces are the practical priorities. We also check the plot facing early, because Vastu placement and sun path have to be solved together.

Soil and structure

Lateritic soil over coal-bearing sandstone and shale; most plots have firm bearing, but subsidence checks matter near old mine areas. Our structural engineer sizes footings and columns from the soil report, which is why we ask for a soil test before the working drawings are issued.

Approvals in Korba
